Hey - glad you found us. One thing about country decor that is just right for kids and pets -it's forgiving of their lively presence. Once I became a mother, suddenly sturdy furniture became an important thing. I found that solid wood furniture with rustic styling was just right to keep everyone happy and safe, from my toddler to that dog of ours. Better still, I can make my own personal 'stamp' on every room in ways not possible with other decorating styles.
